Wright Close & Barger is pleased to congratulate partner Natasha Taylor and associate Landon Francois as finalists for the 2025 Texas Legal Awards, which recognize professional excellence in the legal community.

Tasha Taylor is a finalist for Best Mentor, which honors lawyers who have helped less-experienced colleagues become better lawyers and have “passed along valuable knowledge to younger attorneys, paving the way for advancement and stellar contributions to the profession.”

A coverage litigation and appellate specialist, Tasha joined Wright Close & Barger in 2013. She handles insurance coverage and extra-contractual litigation involving a wide array of first- and third-party claims in Texas and nationwide. Board Certified in Civil Appellate Law and in Insurance Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, Tasha has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America and Texas Super Lawyers.

Landon Francois is a finalist for Most Promising Newcomer, which recognizes individuals in their first years as an attorney who have “shown exceptional potential, work ethic and legal acumen” and have had an impact on their businesses and communities, “demonstrating the qualities necessary for them to quickly climb the career ladder.”

Landon, who joined Wright Close & Barger in 2022, focuses his practice on complex appellate matters and civil trial support in state and federal court. His experience includes judicial internships for both the United States Attorney’s Office and the Hon. Stephen P. McGlynn in the Southern District of Illinois.
