Rose Doda focuses her practice on civil appeals. She represents businesses and individuals in high-stakes matters in Texas and nationwide. Her experience spans all stages of litigation—from evaluating and preserving legal defenses before trial to helping secure favorable outcomes in the highest appellate courts.

Rose has argued multiple appeals in the Texas courts of appeals and has briefed cases in state and federal appellate courts across the country, including the Texas, Colorado, and Arkansas intermediate appellate courts; the Texas Supreme Court; the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit; and the Supreme Court of the United States. Rose also regularly serves as embedded appellate counsel at trial, advising trial teams on error preservation and handling dispositive motions and jury charge issues. Her work has contributed to successful trial verdicts and favorable appellate rulings, including judgments rendered in clients’ favor on appeal.

Before joining Wright Close Barger & Guzman, Rose served as clerk for Chief Justice Mark Green of the Massachusetts Appeals Court.
