Kyle’s practice focuses primarily on complex appellate matters and providing trial support in both state and federal courts. He has experience at all stages of civil litigation, from drafting initial pleadings to drafting filings at the United States Supreme Court. Before joining the firm, Kyle worked as an Honors Program attorney in the Civil Division at the Department of Justice, where he presented eight oral arguments at the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. He also briefed and argued countless dispositive motions at various trial courts around the country.
While at DOJ, Kyle received “The John Marshall Award” from the Attorney General, which is the highest award offered to DOJ attorneys for contributions and excellence in specialized areas of legal practice. Kyle also gained invaluable experience clerking for the Fifth Circuit and the Southern District of Texas.
Kyle is a proud Texan, receiving his undergraduate degree from Texas Christian University and his Juris Doctor from Baylor Law School. Kyle graduate summa cum laude and first in his class at Baylor, receiving the highest grade in 18 substantive courses. He also served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Baylor Law Review.
