Chetan Reddy is an appellate attorney focusing his practice on civil appeals and complex litigation representing corporate and individual clients in high stakes matters at all levels of state and federal court. He has extensive experience preparing appellate briefs and petitions for writ of mandamus and regularly serves as embedded appellate counsel in trial courts, where he collaborates closely with trial teams to preserve error, refine legal arguments, and strategically position cases for appellate review.
Prior to joining Wright Close Barger & Guzman, Chetan practiced at a major global law firm, where he focused on complex commercial litigation and internal investigations. His experience includes securities and shareholder litigation, contract and governance litigation, mergers & acquisitions disputes, employment matters, and DOJ enforcement actions. He worked across all phases of mediation, arbitration, and litigation.
Chetan earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2024. While attending law school, he worked as a student attorney in the Harvard Election Law Clinic and the Democracy and the Rule of Law Clinic. Chetan also served as a lead supervising editor for Harvard’s Journal on Legislation and held positions on the Harvard Journal of Law and Gender and the Harvard Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review. Chetan graduated summa cum laude from The University of Texas at Dallas with a B.A. in political science and a B.S. in economics.
Outside of work, Chetan enjoys spending time with his family, friends, and cat. Chetan also enjoys playing chess, solving crosswords, and watching his favorite sports teams.
