Chris’s practice focuses on civil litigation. He works on a variety of cases at all stages of litigation in both state and federal court. His practice includes commercial and business disputes, construction disputes, oil and gas matters, personal injury and wrongful death matters, insurance coverage, employment matters, and other complex disputes.
Prior to joining the firm, Chris worked as an associate and law clerk with Locke Lord LLP here in Houston, where he also maintained a broad commercial and business litigation and dispute resolution practice. While in law school at SMU’s Dedman School of Law, Chris served as associate managing editor of the SMU Law Review and practiced as a student attorney in the SMU Civil and Consumer Advocacy Clinic, where he had the opportunity to manage various civil cases and represent clients in small claims court. As a student, Chris externed with the Honorable Terry R. Means, U.S. Senior District Judge for the Northern District of Texas, and competed in the Emory Civil Rights and Federal Bar Association moot court competitions, where he argued in the United States Court of Federal Claims in Washington, D.C.
